Dear friends,
In light of recent events, we want to inform you that we are working with King County Health Department to establish precautions to keep a safe environment at the bookshop and our events.
Update! (3/11/2020) We are still keeping normal business hours but many March 2020 events have been postponed, on a case by case basis. We are limiting event attendance to 25 people in our event room to allow for social distancing and also posting these requirements for all event attendees, by order of the Health Department:
What we're doing:
Sick staff members are directed to stay home.
We will be routinely disinfecting all surfaces that come into daily contact.
We will be moving all tissue boxes into the restrooms only to encourage hand washing after use.
Encouraging staff members to wash hands multiple times per day with soap and hot water for 20 seconds minimum.
Here's how you can help:
Stay at home if you're sick.
Wash your hands - we have fully stocked soap dispensers and hot water in all of our restrooms.
Use tissues in the restrooms only; wash your hands after use. Should you need to cough or sneeze, please do so into your shirt sleeve and sanitize after.

We look forward to seeing you!
