The Celtic & World music duo Four Shillings Short, present a concert of music, poetry and folklore including Indian Ragas, Irish Airs and Tunes, Early Music & Original compositions.

The Celtic & World music duo Four Shillings Short, perform Indian Ragas, Irish Airs and Tunes, Early Music & Original compositions on over 30 world instruments including North Indian Sitar, Dulcimers, Medieval & Renaissance Woodwinds, Mandolins, Psaltery, Banjo, Guitar, percussion and vocals.

This concert brings together music, poetry and folklore to celebrate Samhain, the Celtic bonfire festival of the Ancestors and the Celtic New Year. Traditionally celebrated at the end of October/beginning of November it is the origin of Halloween and All Souls day. Samhain is a time when the veil between this world and the next grows thin, a time to reflect on life and death, and remember those who have left the world of the living.
