July 24, 2017 - Monday 7-9pm - Resonant Minds and Voices: An Evening with Rupert Sheldrake and Jill Purce

Join world-famous biologist Rupert Sheldrake and his wife, Jill Purce, who pioneered the international sound healing movement, for talks exploring resonance in body, voice and mind. In addition Jill will lead us into exhilarating resonance with overtone singing and chant and Rupert will talk about his hypothesis of morphic resonance, exploring some of its many implications for biology, memory and spirituality.

RUPERT SHELDRAKE, PhD.  is a biologist and author of more than 80 technical papers and 11 books, including Science Set Free. He was a Fellow of Clare College, Cambridge University, where he was Director of Studies in cell biology.  He was also a Research Fellow of the Royal Society.  From 2005-2010 he was Director of the Perrott-Warrick Project, funded from Trinity College, Cambridge. JILL PURCE is recognized internationally as a pioneer of the Sound Healing and Ancestral Healing movements, through her rediscovery of ancient vocal techniques, the power of group chant, and the spiritual potential of the voice as a magical instrument for healing and meditation. She gives workshops throughout the world, “Healing Voice”, teaching diverse forms of sacred chant, and especially Mongolian overtone chanting and “Healing the Family and Ancestors”, combining Family Constellations with chant and ceremony. Refund Policy

Tickets purchased from East West for events held outside the store can be refunded until 72 hours before the event begins.  Refund will be in the original form of payment.  No refund will be issued if refund is requested less than 72 hours before event begins.

Tickets for East West-sponsored events purchased through other sources for are subject to sale and return policies of the source where purchased.

Should an event be cancelled, ticket purchasers will be notified as soon as possible, and tickets purchased from East West will be refunded in original form of payment.
