January 22, 2021 - Friday 6-8pm PST - Care for your Soul in this Dark Night - with Thomas Moore - Webinar
Thomas Moore, author of Care of the Soul and Dark Nights of the Soul, talks about how to make the dark night of COVID-19 a time of positive transformation. He describes this unusual experience as a liminal state, strangely out of the ordinary and yet still a rite of passage. He offers hope and strategies for redeeming the pain, fear and unsettling feelings of this global and local nightmare, making it count as a period of growth rather than just a problem to get through. It's all about how you imagine it and see your life advancing because of it. Q&A to follow.
Thomas Moore is the author of twenty-five books, a psychotherapist and speaker in demand all over the world. In his youth he was a Catholic monk, and he has a Ph.D. in religious studies from Syracuse University. He writes fiction and has degrees, as well, in music composition. He summarized his philosophy in a two and a half conversation on Oprah's Super Soul Sunday. His next book is Soul Therapy: The Art and Craft of Caring Conversations, coming out in May 2021.
