January 21, 2021 - Thursday 6-7:30pm PST - Can Crises be Opportunities? - with Jeff Skolnick, MD, PhD. - Webinar

When problems in life arise, is that what creates your suffering and hardship? In the same way, when things are going well, will that really guarantee you happiness? The answers may not be as clear as you may think.

Learn how survival wiring in your brain causes your unhappiness and how to unwind it when that happens, using the SatoriWest Method. Bringing together the basic tenets of Buddhism with Western brain, behavior, and wellness science, the SatoriWest Method helps people chart a path to deeper fulfillment and inner peace.

SPEAKER

Jeff Skolnick, MD, PhD, is a board certified psychiatrist, Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, 40-year Zen Buddhist meditator, and former brain researcher, with a doctorate in natural Health Science. He is the author of Awaken Your Brain: Coming Alive to Vibrant Wellbeing and a New Reality and the soon-to-be published, Blessed by Distress: Finding Peace, Meaning, and Fulfillment in Crisis and Hardship Using the SatoriWest Method.  He is the Chief Medical Officer of Cascade Behavioral Health, where the SatoriWest Method is being used in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
