Celebrate the Winter season and the New Year with a special routine filled with Energy Medicine techniques, yoga postures, chakra balancing and sound healing.
Shaefeather Windsong will be doing an extra special class tonight to make up for not being present for the Winter Solstice celebration in December due to being sick at that time. Tonight you will enjoy a longer class with a Winter themed energy adjustment for your subtle body energies and chakras. Winter is the season of water in Chinese Medicine. We will focus on balancing the meridians and other subtle body systems associated with water energy. Winter/water energy when unbalanced tends to sit in "fear mode". Our goal will be to balance and transmute this into courage and strength.
The new year 2020 is full of many transitions and changes. Therefore it is all the more important to stay balanced in mind, body and energy going into this new phase. I encourage you to also bring any goals, affirmations and resolutions with you to class to incorporate into your routine.
Shaefeather is a trained musician and will incorporate sound healing and flute music into the routine as well as a 20-30 min sound bath portion at the end during Savasana.
